Whether you are new to Parenting Plan Evaluations or highly experienced, your reports and testimony must not only be admissible but also persuasive in court. This workshop, led by Phil Stahl, PhD, a forensic psychologist with over 40 years of experience, provides practical advice using the revised AFCC Guidelines for Parenting Plan Evaluations, the AFCC Guidelines for Examining Intimate Partner Violence, and psycho-legal literature. Key strategies include following local court rules, developing multiple hypotheses, assessing the family with sufficient breadth and depth of critical issues, presenting balanced data, a thorough analysis, and making sensible recommendations. Additionally, testimony tips include answering questions clearly, considering new evidence, and treating hypothetical questions thoughtfully and concisely.
