Watkins, originator of ego state therapy. She was Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Associate Professor of Psychology at the University of Hawaii and Acting Chief Psychologist at Queens Medical Center in Honolulu.  | Dr. Adler-Tapia, is a licensed psychologist who was previously a firefighter and emergency medical technician (EMT) before starting in nursing and moving on to becoming a psychologist. She has additional expertise in EMDR therapy and working with children from infants to adolescents. She was part of the Mental Health Team for the National Fallen Firefighters’, Taking Care of Our Own Program, and she helped found of PISTLE (Post Incident Stress and Trauma in Law Enforcement).
