Program Description:
This module is a review of the basics of how to conduct the ET protocol in a stepwise procedural way. Indispensable for those who haven’t taken the workshop or read Paulsen’s book by the same name, its lays the foundation for the fancy foot work presented in the subsequent modules. Previously presented as Step 4 Temporal Integration in the Early Trauma workshop by Paulsen “When There Are No Words,” (from Katie O’Shea’s original work).
Goals & Objectives:
- Provide instructions to client on how we’ll proceed with temporal integration.
- Pendulate between “bio story” and “mythic story” to hear what apparently
happened and repair it in imagination.
- Structure ET EMDR temporal integration in manageable targetsIdentify challenges to applying EMDR to early developmental trauma.
